Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said Americans will be expelled from Iraq and Syria.

Following Trump's statement, Maj. Gen. Hussein, the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, said Tehran would destroy US warships if its security in the Gulf was threatened.
It is believed that the head of Iran's Al-Quds Force and a very important commander Qasim Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike on January 3 this year, after which tensions between the two countries increased.
Iran later claimed to have killed "80 American terrorists" in a missile strike in retaliation. At the same time, Tehran's state TV quoted Revolutionary Guards sources as saying that if the United States retaliated, Iran would look at 100 targets in the region.
This is Iran's biggest direct attack on the United States since the siege of the US embassy in Tehran in 1979.
In response, Secretary of Defense Mark Asper said, "The United States will not tolerate an attack on our people, our interests and our allies, as we have demonstrated in recent months. We will take all necessary steps to protect it.
U.S. officials say the United States hopes the death toll will drop to less than 50 and that the real effort was to target weapons.
