An Indian man was killed and two others were injured in a firing incident on the India-Nepal border

Kathmandu: The incident took place in Sitamarhi district of Bihar state on the India-Nepal border. Local officials confirmed that one person was killed and two others were injured in the firing.

According to Indian police officials, the shooting took place between 8.30 am and 9.30 am on Friday after a clash between the local population of India and the Nepal Police.

Meanwhile, Nepali officials say that our security forces opened fire when some Indian nationals tried to enter illegally.
