US Commission on Religious Freedom raises concerns over violence and arrests of Muslims

Washington (92 News) The US Commission on Religious Freedom has expressed concerns over the arrests of Muslims in India. He demanded that India be declared a country concerned over violations of religious freedom.

The US Commission on the Freedom of Religion tweeted that there were concerns over the arrest of Muslims protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act in India.

India is targeting protesters instead of releasing prisoners in view of Corona. Of particular concern is the arrest of pregnant social worker Safora Zargar.
The commission wrote that Safura Zargar was sent to jail on April 27 under the anti-terrorism law. India should be declared a country concerned about violations of religious freedom.
