India has once again claimed to have caught a Pakistani spy pigeon, after which this claim is being ridiculed on social media.
According to Indian media, a pigeon has been caught in the border area of Kathua district of Occupied Kashmir, which is suspected to have been trained by Pakistan for espionage.
As soon as this news came out in Indian media, users on social media made fun of it and a series of memes started.
Later, the top trend of 'Pigeon' started appearing on the trending panel of micro-blogging site Twitter.
Pakistan's Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweeted, "I can't understand whether the Indian media is really stupid or just pretends to be stupid."
On the other hand, American comedian Jeremy McLean also wrote in a humorous tweet that "Today, on the occasion of our Memorial Day, we pay tribute to all the heroes (pigeons) who sacrificed their lives for freedom."
Similarly, Dennis Friedman, a well-known Australian sports journalist, expressed his views on the Indian media's report on the Indian government, saying, "All my prayers are with this pigeon."
