The government has allowed some special flights to return to Pakistanis stranded abroad during the flight closure, the second phase of which has begun today.

According to civil aviation sources, in the second phase PIA special flight PK 797 departed Karachi from Toronto, which is the first flight from Karachi to Toronto during lockdown.

Sources said that the flight departing from Karachi to Toronto was delayed by an hour due to the full corrosion protection of the Corona virus. The special flight departed at 6pm.
Airline officials say the flight will arrive in Toronto at 2:30 pm local time, according to Canadian local time.

According to PIA sources, Pakistanis from Canada have also made reservations for departure to Karachi.

On the other hand, according to the Foreign Office, 43,000 Pakistanis have been trapped in various countries due to the Corona virus. The Pakistanis are also being trapped in several countries, including Turkey, Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan, waiting for their return.

According to the Foreign Office, 226 Pakistani pilgrims were brought to Lahore from Jeddah on special flight from Jeddah yesterday while 221 Pakistanis were flown to Karachi from Jakarta, the Indonesian capital.
