In Jordan, the army arrested a news channel owner and programmed journalist who identified the worst conditions in the Corona virus.
According to the Arab news agency Al-Jazeera, Jordan's local news channel 'Roya' launched a program on the problems caused by the lockdown caused by the Corona virus in the country, which included complaints of unemployed people. Other issues, including malnutrition, were also highlighted in the country.
The military took action after a program to increase unemployment rates and make conditions worse in the country due to a lockdown on the news channel.
A statement was also issued by TV that confirmed the arrest of the director news and the TV owner.
According to the report, Director News was himself the host of the program and his show is considered one of the country's leading talk shows.
Authorities ordered director news to be detained for 14 days because of the program, the report said.
It should be noted that the government imposed an emergency nationwide last month due to the Corona virus in Jordan, while the government closed a full lockdown for 48 hours a few days ago, during which detainees were arrested and sentenced to one year imprisonment. Orders have also been issued.
So far 372 cases of Corona virus have been reported in Jordan while seven have died.
